NYPD Blue
The always controversial NYPD Blue not only has a regular gay character, receptionist John Irvin (Bill Brochtrup), it also takes many opportunities to touch on GLBT issues. Rumor has it that John will get some love action this season. You can see NYPD Blue on ABC every Tuesday at 10 p.m.
Dawson's Creek
Look for out gay actor Jason Daniel Roberts (a.k.a. Danny from MTV's The Real World, New Orleans) as the new het love interest for Andie (Meredith Monroe). We'd like to see the plot twist
where he dumps Andie for her brother Jack
(the show's gay character -- played by Kerr Smith -- who we think really needs a boyfriend this season). Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on the WB.
Spin City
Let's hope for more screen time for gay Carter Heywood (Michael Boatman) this season. We're cringing at the thought of
having to see Charlie Sheen every week. Tune in to ABC every Wednesday at 9:30 p.m.
Popular
Mixing surreal comedy and poignant drama, this wildly popular show has proven to be incredibly gay in its first season. We're looking for more of the same this year. Fridays at 9 p.m. on the WB.
Will & Grace
Every Thursday at 9:00 p.m., catch NBC's Will & Grace and follow the frantic antics of gay Manhattan attorney Will, his best friend Grace, and their friends Jack and Karen.
Xena
Live the adventure and feel the fantasy with everyone's favorite ambiguously lesbian duo Xena and Gabrielle on Xena: Warrior Princess. Mondays at 9 p.m. on UPN.
